The Canadian economy as reported by the BMO North American outlook, is gathering steam at 3.4% growth GDP for 2010. Employment generation in the first three months has been significant in Canada’s positioning amongst all G7 countries. Housing demand and prices should cool later this year in the face of rising interest rates and somewhat tighter mortgage rules, rising employment could bring more juice for the market. Exports and manufacturing are increasing and Canada’s debt ratio is the lowest in the G7 relative to the economy.
