RAILROAD EMERGENCY RESPONSE

Emergency Response to Railroad Events

     If you observe an unusual event on railway property such as crossing signal systems in operation for extended time periods without any apparent rail traffic, trains stationary over crossings for more than five minutes, rail cars on fire, or material dragging from a rail car, please call 1-800-465-9239.

     This is a direct line to the CN Police 24 hour Communications Centre.

     The operator will ask for the specific details and the location and CN will respond to the incident appropriately.
